What personal data we collect and why we collect it
eCommerce Store
We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store. This information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address and any other details that might be requested from you for the purpose of processing your orders.
Additionally we may also collect the following information if you create an account with us or place an order:
[+] If you choose to create an account with us, your name, email address and password for you to access your account. This will also be used to populate the checkout for future orders.
[+] If you place an order with us, your location and traffic data (including IP address and browser type) to estimate local taxes based on your location.
[+] Your product reviews if you choose to leave them on our website.

[+] We share your email address and name with Paypal when you are transferred from wphoot site to Paypal site during checkout.
[-] We DO NOT store, nor do we have any access to any financial data collected by Paypal.
Contact forms
Your name and email information is used to automatically create a support ticket (see Support Ticket section below) so that we can respond to your contact query. This information is not used or shared for any sort of marketing purposes.
Support Tickets
Freshdesk is a help desk software we use to respond to questions from our users. A help desk ticket is created when any of the following events happen:
[+] You send us a query via Contact form on wphoot.com
[+] You access http://tickets.wphoot.com/ and open a support ticket.
[+] You email support@wphoot.com
Data including your userid, name and email address is accessed and stored by our help desk at Freshdesk. This is necessary to respond to your query by email, and to maintain sync between various membership levels and priority levels of tickets (for free vs premium users).

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, as long as those parties are obliged to keep this information confidential (such as payment processing, analytica and helpdesk services). How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
